Never Count the Cost

Today I lost the first "native" friend I ever made in this country.

I suppose when one is seeking to follow the Lord, these things happen as a consequence.

Yet, I assure anyone that asks; NO amount of friends on this earth can mean to me what my relationship with my Heavenly Father does.

Does it hurt?

Yes.

Does He comfort?

Oh Yes!

And it's not the end of the world yet. I will pray for her all the more.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14
